Womanizer Launches First Pleasure Air G-Spot Vibrator

Global pleasure brand Womanizer pushes boundaries in the field of pleasure once again with the new Womanizer OG, the world’s first Pleasure Air G-spot vibrator that combines targeted Pleasure Air and vibrations for a powerful orgasmic journey.

Eight years ago, Womanizer’s proprietary Pleasure Air technology disrupted the sexual wellness industry by pioneering an entirely new category. This breakthrough technology was specifically designed to awaken the clitoral nerve endings and deliver a new kind of extraordinary orgasm that can’t be achieved by vibration alone. Womanizer OG takes this technology to a whole new level and breaks the norm that penetration alone is the best way to the vagina by creating a new way to stimulate the G-spot.

Vaginal stimulation with Pleasure Air Technology

The Womanizer OG targets the G-spot by using the brand’s signature, patented Pleasure Air Technology, which creates pulsating waves and gentle suction that leads to an extraordinarily new kind of orgasm.

Chief Engineering & Production Officer Tobias Zegenhagen explains, “Our main goal was to create an optimized vaginally insertable pleasure toy that allows users the perfect journey to exploring the various female erogenous zones, resulting in a long-lasting, satisfying orgasm. Our focus was on research to understand the stimulation required for the vaginal anatomy.”

Starting in 2018, it took four years of research, multiple prototypes and designs to develop the Womanizer OG. Ergonomics, design and adjustability were some of the main challenges faced while creating this product. The most challenging technical hurdle in developing the Womanizer OG was determining the appropriate degree of the Pleasure Air Technology so needed for sexual arousal. Due to the product type of insertion through the vagina, the pressure field must be carefully calibrated to roduce a pleasureful and targeted stimulation of the erogenous zone or more specifically, the G-Spot.

G-Spot vs. vaginal erogenous zones

To date, most studies believe that the G-spot exists, but even among those there is disagreement. For example, while recent literature claims that the G-spot exists as a pleasure receptor, it also acknowledges that it is not a defined, anatomical organ. Rather, it is a functional, dynamic and hormone-dependent area that is highly individual in its development and ability to be pleasured due to several biological and psychological factors – in laymen’s terms, it’s different for everybody.

Because of the G-spot’s varying location and individualized sensitivity levels, the OG’s dimensions had to be carefully calculated. The extensive development process therefore focused on creating just the right intensity and flexibility to lead to vaginal sexual sensation. This can be described asmore diffused, longer lasting and more satisfying, resulting in stimulation that radiates throughout the body and offers greater potential for orgasms.

10,000 Data Points in User Testing

When developing a new toy, Womanizer’s Innovation and User Testing team plays an integral role in bringing an idea to life. The initial user tests with the first OG prototype started in April 2019, several months after the first 8 alpha testers were asked to use a Womanizer Liberty that was connected to a 3D printed stick to provide the internal stimulation.

There were more than 250 testers in 12 test cycles, spanning over 11 different prototype iterations. More than 100 interviews were conducted in 3 years’ time with 10,000 data points that were applied to launch the first Pleasure Air G-spot vibrator, certainly being the most tested product ever in the range of Womanizer products.

Elisabeth Neumann, User Testing Expert states, “With this launch, we want to promote and enforce the importance of pleasure on all erogenous zones, highlighting the significance of holistic pleasure structures. Womanizer wants to provide a means of inviting people to explore their individual needs and preferences, and we hope to lead the future of the industry to encourage people to find their own unique way to pleasure.”

Womanizer OG – features

The Womanizer OG, which is the result of all the prototyping and testing that Womanizer has done over the past four years, combine internal Pleasure Air Technology with vibration and offers 12 levels of intensity and 3 levels of vibration. It is made of soft-touch silicone and offers the Smart Silence – the toy activates itself when it comes into contact with the skin – and Afterglow – bringing the toy back to its lowest setting for a relaxing end to an orgasm. It is waterproof (IPX7) and currently available in three colors: Aubergine, Lilac and Dark Grey.

The Womanizer OG is now available on womanizer.com, and from November 8th on lovehoney.co.uk.
