Japanese company Tenga Co., Ltd has announced that its brand of products of the same name ‘Tenga‘ has reached the remarkable milestone of 100 million units shipped worldwide as of December 2021.
As the company points out, the figure of 100 million units shipped relates only to Tenga Brand sex toy items only, and excludes: novelties, other brands in the TENGA Group, apparel and merchandise.
The company has decided to celebrate this achievement by creating a special limited edition of its most popular product, the ‘Tenga Cup‘, which will be available globally via a giveaway on their global social media accounts.
The road to 100 million units
Tenga was founded in March 2005 and the Tenga brand was launched on 7 July 2005 under the concept of “Bringing Sexuality to the Forefront, For Everyone to Enjoy”, offering 5 stylish, hygienic masturbators – the Tenga Cup series.
The brand immediately surpassed industry records at the time, selling over 1 million units in its first year alone. In 2007, the company went global, starting with neighbouring Asian countries and soon after in the USA and Europe.
Today, the Tenga brand is the leader in the category with over 200 types of products and is available in more than 70 countries worldwide. In addition, the Tenga Group has expanded with additional brands ‘Iroha‘ and ‘Tenga Healthcare‘.

TENGA 100 Million Commemorative Set
To celebrate this milestone, Tenga has prepared a special commemorative Tenga Cup, adorned with a design reminiscent of the Tenga Rocket, which was launched in early 2021. The item comes in a set alongside three variants of the popular Original Vacuum CUP – Standard, Gentle and Premium. The set will be sold in very limited quantities in Asia. However, fans of the brand from around the world will also have the chance to get their hands on it as it will be available through a giveaway on the brand’s global social media accounts.

Tenga will be giving away its commemorative 100 Million CUP on its official global Twitter and Instagram accounts. There are 20 sets (10 on Twitter and 10 on Instagram), which will be given away to winners drawn randomly from applicable campaign entrants.
To enter on Twitter, follow Tenga at @TENGA_Global and simply retweet a post about the campaign. Granted, this won’t affect your chances of being drawn, but Tenga encourages you to also add the hashtag #Happy100MillionTENGA. They’ll be more than happy if you do so.
Meanwhile, to enter on Instagram, follow them at @TENGA_Global and tag yourself or a friend, along with the hashtag #Happy100MillionTENGA in a comment on the campaign post.
The closing date for entries is in exactly one month’s time, on 15 January 2022 at 23:59. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age to participate. Winners will be selected at random from eligible entrants and will be notified directly by Tenga via direct message on Twitter and Instagram, along with a tweet/comment from @TENGA_Global marking them as winners.
