Adam & Eve one of the largest and more popular erotic store chain in America has released statistics on viewing adult content. Their results are surprising to say the least.
Adam & Eve used an outside agency to conduct an anonymous online survey among 1,000 American adults ages 18+. The purpose of the survey was to explore sexual preferences and practices.
According to the adult retail chain, when asked, ‘Have you ever watched adult content?“, only 57% of respondents (68% men and 48% women) said yes. This is a surprisingly low result given current trends in pandemic times, and the fact that the question is ‘have you ever watched’ which should significantly increase the number of yes answers.
– Many people view adult content, both on their own or with their partner – said Dr. Jenni Skyler, resident sexologist at Adam & Eve. – Watching alone can be a way to access easy arousal, while couples may watch together to share fantasies and create more intimacy. The content, as well as the length of viewing, differs from person to person. I believe what’s most important is that viewers feel they are in a healthy relationship with their adult content.
