Facebook continues to advertise adult products in Poland

Two weeks ago, we reported that Facebook was running ads for adult products. The social network informed then that all ads were approved due to an error. However, until now Polish Facebook users keep coming across more ads for adult products.

Tought LoveX

The statement made by a Facebook representative suggested that the appearance of ads promoting the sale of adult products was due to human error. It would seem that this situation will make Facebook’s ad review team learn a lesson and not allow this type of product to appear again on Facebook ads.

And yet, as it turns out, Polish Facebook users keep coming across ads promoting adult toys from new advertisers:

True Wellness for Your body! Air Massager Penguin
Among a million products, there is always something at a discount – Cat eye Crystal

Once again the Satisfyer brand product appears on the ads. It is interesting to note that the store that advertises the ‘penguin’ mainly offers lingerie (erotic too) and related accessories. Satisfyer Penguin is the only adult toy available in their assortment.

While the ‘penguin’ has an unusual appearance for an adult toy and one can be mistaken about it, there can be no more doubt about the second advertisement. Anal plugs are very popular products for adults, and the colorful plugs have the most standard shape for this type of toy. Does this mean that the person who approves ads in the Polish branch of Facebook is completely unfamiliar with erotic products?

Or maybe this is about something else entirely, given the next ads:

My pussy needed extra care…
Since using it, I don’t have any sores after intercourse.

Once again the ‘Intimate oil’ providing ‘extra care‘ for Agnieszka’s ‘pussy‘ appears. It is the same product with identical graphics as last time, promoted once again by the same advertiser. The only difference is that this time the oil is not used ‘after sex’. Additionally, the advertiser does not stop promoting his lube, the ad says it will ‘provide your body (and gadgets too!) with a natural and safe glide’, which clearly states that the product is used to achieve sexual enhancement. It is hard to talk about a mistake in such a case, taking into account both advertisements above.

One can only speculate whether all the ads actually appear as a result of misjudging their content, or whether Facebook is running some form of test on Polish users to see how ads for adult products work on their platform.

One thing is certain, Polish companies offering products for adults have an open door to which the world’s biggest brands keep knocking and it is definitely worth taking advantage of, because such an opportunity may not come again too soon.
