Maitland Ward picked up the award for Best Actress at the 37th XRCO (X-Rated Critics Organization) Awards, in recognition of her outstanding performance in the dramatic feature from Deeper, The Muse.
Ward’s no-nonsense portrayal of a sex worker-turned-Sexuality professor with a taste for dominance and dangerous encounters, not only received wide critical acclaim, but also reignited a new wave of unbridled fan worship that first took hold with the flame-haired star’s breakout debut in 2019’s erotic masterwork Drive.
Born and raised in Southern California, Maitland Ward has quickly become one of the biggest stars in adult entertainment. The actress, who joined the cast of ‘Bold and the Beautiful‘ as a teenager and found fame as Rachel McGuire in the sitcom ‘Boy Meets World‘, has stepped into adult filmmaking in 2019 without hesitations. Her talent and experience as an actress means she can deliver dramatic and comedic scenes with ease.

For Ward, the industry’s most successful crossover artist with more than 20 years of TV and film experience, ‘Muse’ hit all the right notes: “It is a true marriage between porn and mainstream film.”
