Karl Edwards of Stiff Media, man of many skills and one of the true pioneers of the gay adult internet market, is this week’s guest on industry podcast Adult Site Broker Talk.
Karl Edwards from his early days as the owner/operator of BedFellow to YouLoveJack and FootWoody and his most recent venture xxxedit.com and stiffmedia.com – he’s been on the forefront of technology and real-brand marketing. He shoots and edits his own content, manages his own affiliate programs, and codes and designs each of his sites from scratch. This hands-on approach keeps him in direct touch with his market and helps him stay one step ahead of the competition.
At the start of the interview, Karl describes what Stiff Media is and reveals the secrets of post-production and editing. He goes on to talk about his experiences as an editor, the discrepancies between the quality of shooting between different clients, the irony that the better the editor does his job, the less noticeable it is, the content creators who particularly benefit from this type of service, and what he really likes most about his work. Finally, Karl shares what he thinks about storylines in adult movies and behind the scenes footage.
