Charlotte Stokely secured two nominations for the 2022 AVN Awards

Charlotte Stokely is proud and excited to announce her two AVN Award nominations for 2022, in recognition of her outstanding work in adult film over the past year.

The veteran All-Girl Performer and AVN Hall of Famer was nominated in the category of Lesbian Performer of the Year – Stokely has held the title of All-Girl Performer of the Year since 2019. Now Charlotte is also in contention for Best Supporting Actress for her dramatic role in MissaX’s feature film ‘Under the Veil‘.

“A Best Supporting Actress award nomination from AVN is what I wanted the mostest! Thank you, AVN!” said Stokely of the honor. “In Under the Veil I played a blinded nun with prosthetics over my eyes in my most challenging role ever.”

“My character’s eyes are stabbed out by Mother Superior in the beginning of the film. My eyes being glued shut meant I needed to 100% know all of my dialogue, still be open to two cameras rolling simultaneously and I filmed a few sex scenes blinded as well.”

Stokely is also excited and pleased that the high-profile religious series, directed by Ricky Greenwood, earned eight AVN nominations in total, including Grand Reel, Best Screenplay and Best Art Direction. “Under the Veil was a labor of love for everyone involved, and I am crossing my fingers for a big win in January!”

A virtual ceremony to announce the winners of the 2022 AVN Awards will take place on Saturday, January 22 at The full list of nominees is available here.
