AEBN co-founder Jay Strowd featured on Adult Site Broker Talk

Jay Strowd, Co-Founder of the first adult VOD platform AEBN is this week’s guest on Adult Site Broker Talk. Jay has a chat with host Bruce about the past and future of the industry.

Jay Strowd and his friends launched AEBN’s revolutionary pay-per-minute video streaming media platform in 1999, which started with only 5 people. This was the first of many VOD platforms in the adult space. Jay has worn many hats at AEBN. He’s recently returned to attending industry events, and as a co-founder, he finds himself stepping into the role of being the ‘voice’ of AEBN, after being behind the scenes for years.

At the outset, Bruce thoroughly introduces listeners to Jay and the origins of AEBN, and the very introduction shows that this will be a remarkable conversation with the person who de facto shaped the current look of the industry.

Jay and Bruce first talk about AEBN’s beginnings, what the process of creating the platform was like in the times when there was no comercial software and what challenges they faced. Then they goes on to talk more about the platform itself, what exactly AEBN offers, what sets it apart and how the VOD market has changed over the years. Jay then explains why AEBN shares the data it collects with the industry and other concerned parties. The conversation further descends into VR, free porn, the impact of premium fan sites on VOD, the future of the industry and more.

Bruce, host of the show and CEO of Adult Site Broker said: “It was an honor to have Jay on the podcast. We had a lively conversation about the adult industry including where it’s been, where it’s at today and where it’s going”.
