On Sunday evening, October 10, the 29′ Annual NightMoves Awards gala was held with a huge crowd and an amazing Showgirl Invitational dance competition. Thee Manor Gentlemen’s Club where the event was held was packed to the brim! The NightMoves Awards weekend kicked off on Wednesday with celebrities attending numerous meetings and events until the gala itself. It was a busy, but also fun-filled long weekend.
“Last year we were the ONLY live adult awards show, expo, or convention in the USA. We are very proud that we pulled that off with no Covid-19 outbreaks or anybody getting sick. This year our event was bigger and better than ever. We had a fantastic group of stars ranging from adult film stars, to directors, to feature entertainers. All of the clubs we visited were packed with people. Our sponsors were amazing and I am very proud of what we have accomplished in the past 29 years. Next year will be a big one … NightMoves XXX … 30 years of bringing the top names in the adult industry to Tampa Bay, Florida … we are super excited!” said Paul Allen owner of Nightmoves Multi-Media, Inc.
NightMoves Magazine started in 1988 and the first NightMoves® Awards happened in 1993. It is the third oldest and continuously running adult awards show in the United States, trailing only the AVN Awards in Las Vegas and the “industry only” XRCO Awards in Los Angeles. Fans and industry people were able to log their votes for their favorite adult performers, directors, films, and feature dancers on the NightMovies website.
The NightMoves® Awards were the first awards show to allow fans to select their winners, making it the original Fan-Based Awards, as well as the first awards show to allow online voting. In addition to the Fan Awards, the show presents Editor’s Choice awards, based on reviews of DVDs in which nominated performers have appeared.
