Beginning in the late 1960s, thanks to productions like Andy Warhol’s Blue Movie, mainstream films began to push the boundaries in terms of what was presented on screen. Although the vast majority of sexual situations depicted in mainstream cinema are simulated, there are some films where actors have real sex during a scene.
There is even a term in the movie industry called ‘unsimulated sex‘, it refers to the on-screen presentation of sex scenes in which actors engage in a real sexual act instead of faking or stimulating sexual behavior.
Since one of the most popular categories on Mr. Skin is the Real Sex, it is these types of scenes that Mr. Skin focused on when making his list of the top 100 Real Sex Scenes:
“These aren’t scenes that are “rumored” to be real or look like they might be real, these 100 scenes all feature actual sex happening on camera. Each of the selected 100 scenes Mr. Skin has enhanced with commentary or trivia about the scene, the actors, or the historical context surrounding the scene to allow its users to learn a little more about the selected scenes.
First place on the list goes to Chloë Sevigny for her real-life oral performance with Vincent Gallo in The Brown Bunny. Further down at #5 is Belladonna and Sasha Grey in the acclaimed adult film Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge. The film appeared three more times throughout the list (at #19, #43 and #53). One of the most sought-after current adult production stars Maitland Ward also made the list at position #10 in recognition of her scene in Deeper.
The #16 spot features former Miss USA, Kelli McCarty in her sex tape. Although the scene was originally presented as a leak, it was actually a deliberately recorded production. Sara Cosmi came in at #23 place for her scene in Fallo, which was created by famous Italian director Tinto Brass. Not far behind at #27 place is the hugely popular Aria Giovanni, whose film Aria, brought BDSM to the screen before it was trendy.
Sex Stories noted three eye-catching scenes on the list: #42 for star Leeloo, #49 for leading lady Nomi and #75 for Rebecca Lord (in the sequel Infidelity: Sex Stories 2). The classic film The Man Who Fell to Earth squeezed in at #95 for an unsimulated sex scene with Adrienne Larussa. Meanwhile, Victoria Carmen Sonne, who plays a former porn star in the film Neon Heart, rounds out the list.
