JustFor.fans Adds Urban Justice Center/Sex Workers Project to Charitable Giving Program

JustFor.fans is pleased to announce the addition of the Urban Justice Center/Sex Workers Project to their charity program supporting adult organizations.

'

The Sex Workers Project of the Urban Justice Center is a national non-governmental organization that defends the human rights of sex workers by destigmatizing and decriminalizing people in the sex trades through free legal services, education, research and policy advocacy. The organization, which has been providing legal services to, and advocating for, sex workers for 21 years, aims to create a sexually liberated world where all workers have the autonomy and power to fully enjoy their human rights.

“We are deeply grateful to be included in JustFor.fans Charitable Giving Program as a major site of work for sex workers online. It is an especially meaningful partnership to us because it is an example of sex workers supporting our own worker-led movements for human rights,” said RJ Thompson-Rodriguez, sex worker, human rights lawyer and Managing Director of the Sex Workers Project of the Urban Justice Center.

“When workers are personally invested in our own struggles for human rights, we see better policy outcomes that improve our lives. JustFor.fans’ support of sex workers on their platform and of human rights organizations like ours that defend, protect and promote the human rights to work with dignity, sexual freedom, freedom of expression and bodily autonomy, is a model for other companies to stand with and for workers, including sex workers.”

JustFor.fans’ Charitable Giving Program has thus far collected more $130,000 in total fundraising donations that serve to support a diverse range of nonprofit organizations that highlight advocacy and engagement within its communities to cultivate meaningful change, stability and sustainability.
