Pheromone-infused perfume brand Eye of Love decided to collect digital notes from people around the world as part of its #LOVEONTHERUN campaign in an effort to unite and spread love. With each note, Eye of Love collected $5 donations for the organization To Write Love On Her Arms.
The #LOVEONTHERUN campaign
Eye of Love, in line with its mission to spread love, decided to organize a special action – We decided to start the #LOVEONTHERUN Campaign to spread love and light after the darkness of the pandemic. We wanted to do something to give back and to unite people – said Jacqui Rubinoff, Vice President of Eye of Love.
The company collected from people all over the world, notes containing various positive messages. Along with each note, Eye of Love also raised $5 for To Write Love On Her Arms, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing hope and seeking help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-harm and suicide attempts.
Not everything can be put into words
But that’s not all, Eye of Love just like their products, decided to reach deeper into the soul and express what cannot be described in words through art. Therefore, the company partnered with renowned photographer Brendan North to create a series of artistic photographs – We chose art as a medium because we wanted to promote self expression and have people be a part of something bigger. We chose to partner with Brendan North because he is incredibly talented and his work conveys powerful messages which is what we were looking to do – explains Jacqui Rubinoff.
Brendan North is one of the most recognizable photographers in the world. His unique work and active social media presence has led to his work being followed by over a million people on Instagram and YouTube. Brendan has a distinctive style that not only gives us a different perspective on the world around us, but also makes us think about issues that affect society as a whole.
The photographer used notes sent as inspiration for the #LOVEONTHERUN campaign to create three fine art photographs. All three works are available for sale and cost $100 and $200, depending on size. Proceeds from the sale of the artist’s work, will also go directly to To Write Love On Her Arms.
– Through my painted images, I attempt to convey feelings and emotions to the viewer. My words and my photographs combine to create a canvas for the human experience. And one of the most human experiences of all is the daily battles with mental health and self love so many of us endure – Writes Brendan North on the website.
The fragrance of love
Eye of Love is a family-owned company whose mission is to spread love around the world. To do this, they create perfumes with pheromones to help people connect with each other. Especially in these pandemic times when it is much harder to make new connections.
